8th Grade End of Year Activities
Attention 8th-grade stakeholders,
Due to space and safety requirements, we are splitting the 8th grade End of the Year Ceremony into two parts. The 8th grade End of the Year Ceremony is still scheduled for Friday, May 20th. Each student will still be allowed two guests to attend the ceremony.
If your child is on Team 8T or 8M (they have a first-period teacher of Ms. McKinnie, Ms. Sellers, Ms. Edwards, Ms. Gilzeane, Ms. Hunte, Ms. Marshall, Mr. Thornton, Ms. Mozley, Mr. Dawson, Ms. Carney, Mr. Rivers, Ms. Alleyne, or Dr. Rayfield) your child’s award ceremony will be from 9:00-10:00am here at Tucker Middle School.
If your child is on Team 8S or 8Tigers (they have a first-period teacher of Ms. Manning, Ms. Bates, Ms. Mungar, Ms. Little, Mr. Richardson, Dr. Fowler, Ms. Duncan, or Mr. Mihalko) your child’s award ceremony will be from 10:30-11:30am here at Tucker Middle School.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this change has caused you. We want to ensure the ceremony occurs with safety in mind and based on the school facilities' capabilities. Please note your student’s time cannot be changed due to logistical concerns. However, our plan is to Livestream both ceremonies via the Tucker Middle School website.
